Job Description: This is a tenure-track assistant or associate position in the department of Nutrition and Dietetics. Teach undergraduate and graduate nutrition courses, advise undergraduate and graduate majors, undertake research, pursue external funding, and provide service to the department, university, community, and profession.


Minimum Qualifications: An earned doctorate from an appropriately accredited institution in nutrition or closely related field is required by the time of appointment. Registered Dietitian credentials and university teaching experience are desirable. We are particularly interested in faculty who have a strong commitment to teaching using innovative methods, incorporate multicultural perspectives in their teaching, and have experience working with diverse faculty and students. Appointment at the rank of Associate Professor requires substantive research productivity demonstrated by records of scholarly achievement through publications, presentations, and demonstrated ability to secure external funding.
