Job Title: Picker, Packer, Warehouse Selector
Shifts: Monday to Friday (40 Hours)
Thursday to Sunday (40 hours)
Duties and responsibilities:
- Picking items to customers’ orders
- Inspecting orders picked to ensure order accuracy
- Packing orders for shipping
- Labeling boxing/packages for shipping
- Placing boxes/packages in the proper shipping containers
- Re-stocking pick locations as needed
- Placing them in the proper delivery areas
- Following all Safety practices to prevent on-the-job injuries
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Competencies & Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:
- Abide by Company safety policies and participate in Safety Training as needed
- Pay close attention to detail and follow directions
- Must have the ability to read, write and speak fluent English
- Must know basic math and be able to count
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand, walk, and stoop
- Use hands to handle or feel objects, and tools or controls
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
The work environment is usually quiet to moderate, cool to ambient climate temperatures and clean.
Employee is required to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week. Schedules may vary based on business demands and may require work performed after hours and/or weekends.
