This manufacturing company is looking to hire a production team leader. This is a 1st shift position Monday-Friday. The position requires the leadership experience needed to ensure that the financial plan  and production and delivery targets are met. Lead the manufacturing staff well. Requires an extensive knowledge of manufacturing methods. Requires knowledge of industrial  principles, manufacturing, and employment policies. Prior experience in administering  production operations in a low volume, high mix manufacturing environment is greatly  advantageous.  Primary Responsibilities:  • Provide a safe working environment for employees; understanding of OSHA regulations  – Commitment to continuous safety improvement • Ability to achieve and sustain 95% OTD through effective planning and execution • Successfully implement 5-S • Manage for Daily Improvement, measuring plan vs. actual, identifying problems causing  gaps, and lead problem solving activities on the shop floor • Develop procedures and work standards within the plant  • Develop and implement cross-training for increased flexibility • Manage workflow production/shipping receiving  Background and Drug test required
